Funeral Director's Assistant (Part-Time, On-Call) - Primary Focus: Transfer Care

Weaver Family Funeral Homes is seeking a compassionate, dependable individual to join our team as a part-time, on-call Funeral Director’s Assistant, with a primary focus on the transfer of individuals into our care.

This role is an essential part of the experience we provide to families. It requires professionalism, sensitivity, and a deep respect for the individuals entrusted to us, as well as the families we serve.

 

About The Role

This is an on-call position with variable hours. Shifts will include scheduled on-call evenings, as well as daytime and overnight responses as needed. Flexibility and reliability are critical, as calls can come at any time.

You will be responsible for assisting with the transfer of deceased individuals from places of death into our care, ensuring each interaction is handled with dignity, discretion, and compassion.
