Trent Hills Trails Day

Saturday, September 15, 2018 9 am – 4 pm

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., join us for a celebration of the trails available in Trent Hills. The celebration is a self-guided tour of the Trails in Trent Hills that will test your skills with a trivia contest to learn more about the Trans Canada Trail, the Rotary Trail, the Millennium Lilac Trail, and the trail systems in Ferris Provincial Park and Seymour Conservation Area. Hike, bike or take a leisurely stroll to find clues to a
series of questions that test your knowledge.

Ladies Night Out in Downtown Trenton

Ladies’ Night Out in Downtown Trenton is happening on Thursday, Oct. 5th from 5pm to 8pm!

Experience great deals and sales on ladies wear and accessories, formal dresses, movie tickets, books, jewellery, and food and drink specials from downtown Trenton businesses. There will also be the chance to win gift baskets, gift certificates, and prizes from in-store draws.

Ladies’ Night Out attendees can also receive complementary hair curling and flat ironing, spa services, yoga and fitness demonstration classes, ukulele sessions, mini makeovers, wine tastings, and more!

The Quinte West Bellydance Collective will be in downtown Trenton with audience participation activities for Ladies’ Night Out.

Christmas in the Village: Where Magic Happens

It’s Christmas in the Village in historic Downtown Belleville which means the downtown will be lit up with Christmas spirit! Reindeer, snowflakes, decorated store windows and 100 live outdoor Christmas trees help to create a magical experience. Many of our stores will be open until 8 pm on Thursdays and many of those businesses will be offering special incentives to visitors.

Choose historic Downtown Belleville for your next shopping or dining experience. Support independently owned and operated retail stores, restaurants, cafes services and meet the people that make downtown Belleville a special place to live, work and shop.

BUSINESS HOURS: Most retails shops are open Monday to Saturday from 10 am. For Christmas in the Village many participating retail shops will be open every Thursday until 8 pm . Be sure to look for Christmas in the Village posters on shop windows outlining unique promotions.

The downtown Belleville annual Window & Tree Decorating Contest runs From November 15-December 15. Pick up ballots at participating businesses. Then take a stroll downtown to view participating shops windows and trees. Vote for your favourite window and decorated tree and submit your vote to any participating business. 2 winners from all ballots submitted will win $100 Downtown Dollars each. Winners being announced on Monday, December 17th.

Hats, Mitts, Scarves available – Fear Nothing Initiative: Dr. Jim’s Computers will be collecting Hats, Mitts and scarves for a Fear Nothing Initiative in downtown Belleville for the duration of the Christmas season. These will be hung on trees in small bags throughout downtown Belleville.

Gleaners Food Bank: The BDIA office at 267 Front St. will be accepting food donations for Gleaners Food Bank from November 15-December 15. Participating locations in downtown will be listed here as they are confirmed.

Feed the Meter Campaign: Help to offer warm meals to students in need in our community. The Feed the Meter campaign — which runs in Belleville, Trenton and Prince Edward County — has municipalities donate the funds collected in parking meters during the month of December to the program. This is the tenth season of the Feed the Meter campaign, which has raised $238,000 over eight years.

What: Hop on the free Holly Trolley to visit the Frankford & Trenton Fantasy of Lights Displays! Enjoy the magic of Quinte West's Fantasy of Lights Displays aboard a San Francisco themed trolley via Kingston Trolley Tours.

Hop off to enjoy the lights up close and hop back on the next trolley or bus to see yet another fantastic display!

The Trolley departs every 50minutes from City Hall. The Trolley is first come first serve.
