Night Kitchen Too

Dec 23, 2017 08:00 PM to Dec 23, 2017 11:50 PM

The city’s innovative musical showcase, Night Kitchen Too, celebrates its 5th year in The Friendly City at the Pinnacle Playhouse.

This is the final event of the 2017-2018 Night Kitchen Too season. Advance $10 tickets are available from several Belleville music stores, Gourmet Diem Coffee Shop, the QAC office, The Brake Room and other outlets listed on Night Kitchen Too’s FaceBook page.

Enthusiastic audiences have continued to fill the theatre for this unique musical variety show because of the simple concept: 14 to 16 invited performers show up for a sound check an hour before the 8 o’clock opening, then perform one song/poem each. Just before the coffee and treats break, a featured act get two shots at the mic followed by a third tune at the show’s end. Usually an on-stage jam closes out the evening.

Musicians, poets and spoken word artists interested in showcasing their talents can contact Joe Callahan at 613-295-9115 or joecallahan48@gmail.com
