Selection Room Facilities
We feel our selections allow a family to have ample realistic choices in every price range which provides the opportunity to make a dignified selection. We deliberately have made a special attempt to reduce the higher end offerings in our selection room such as solid mahogany, solid copper or bronze caskets believing that, while a select few families may request this type of casket, the vast majority of families need not be subjected to any unecessary pressure by there presence. The purchase of a casket for funeral services is a provincial requirement. Whether the choice be simple or less modest, it is not about how much or how little a family spends on a casket or container selection for their loved one. The choice made needs to be about a comfort level in viewing and financially being affordable.
Should a family wish a more elaborate casket than those we have on display, we can usally have a casket that meets their needs delivered to the funeral home within a few hours.
Having the three chapels allows us to provide a greater number of offerings in each price range with the corresponding photos from each of the other selection rooms. A growing number of families served by the Weaver Family Funeral Homes are starting to appreciate the difference these considerations make.
